From the first lesson onward, safe habits and sound decisions shape how we operate.
Safety comes first
Safety should always come before the schedule or pressure to complete a flight. Everyone at the school has a role in identifying risks and speaking up when something does not seem right. We respect conservative decisions. Canceling for weather or choosing to go around shows good aeronautical judgment.
Training and decision-making
A major part of flight training is learning how to make decisions, not simply learning how to fly an airplane. Our instructors help students build confidence while teaching them to think through risks before every flight. We use standardized procedures and structured risk-management tools to develop habits that stay with students long after training is complete.
Always improving
A strong safety culture is never finished. We want people to raise concerns and ask questions without hesitation. Students should leave with more than flight hours and certificates. They should also have the judgment to make safe decisions throughout their flying careers.
Safety & quality reporting
Use the reporting system to document a safety-of-flight concern or an operational irregularity. Maintenance observations and suggestions for improvement are welcome too. A written report does not replace immediately notifying Star Flight Training management about an urgent concern.
